which songs did he write ?

He gave examples like Franc Congolais, Maman for Papa Wemba, Accapella, Recto Verso, Feux de l’Amour, Kinshasa, Omba for JB Mpiana (not mentioning those for are supposed to be in Chemin de Fer, which will never be released), Voyage Mboso for Adolphe, Werrason’s Tchatcho Mbala (Jugement par Défaut). He did not mention all songs he gave to his Wenge friends.

Papa Wemba did Pascal Poba dirty. I don’t think that Omba would be a big hit if it was sung by Koffi Olomidé. How is it possible the way friends still songs from people a giving it to other artists. Are they present when they are working on songs ?

Pascal Poba is a good singer. I wish he would invested in himself like Felix did. But he made great songs.

I released this song. It is so good. I would recommend everyone to listen. It is better than most Congolese songs out there. Sadly this is mild autotune smh. Apart from that, the song is good.

yeah sometimes the donors or the "pretres ya mouvement" of groups(for example somebody like gege fula mambu in latino,adjo lasuba in bcbg,youla bols or wasenga  in old days of maison mere) are there whether by simple circonstance,or as they came to order songs for their leaders,then  they could hear songs already given elsewhere but by "loyalty" to their leaders they secretly record
but in the case of omba after it was brought in to bcbg,they reworked it with him and the bcbg writers

So he basically lied in this interview for his reputation. Because Koffi called him angry from Europe, when getting informed that BCBG was recording Omba while it was meant to be in Attentat and being disappointed for the way of Pascal not being serious.

Btw it was a good that the song was sung by JB Mpiana. Because if Koffi would sing that, it would probably been like Sans Anesthesie, G.B. Gross Bebe and many other rumba's who are just replica's of Fouta Djallon (having those two parts). Also Koffi never use the full versions made by songwriters when recording songs for his solo-albums. He will always add his part. Koffi barely came with something new since V12. All his musicial arrangements are often copies of Koweit Rive Gauche, Fouta Djallon, Zero Faute, Mosika na Miso and Etat Civil. I will one day write a topic about that. That's why I regret why JB Mpiana never made 5 or 6 albums to see if would stay in the style of TH or Chemin de Fer being very different from TH, like the way TH was totally different from Feux de l'Amour and the group albums Titanic and Internet being like transitions.
