So happy to see these images back, although the sound being back. The last time I saw this VHS was in 2005-06. Me watching it with my cousins, wondering why he suddenly disappeared from the music-scene I ended up by losing it in 2011, when I made the historically mistake to throw 80% of all VHS I had at home away.

I was hoping one day I will see this video and see Bakolo Keita not appear on the clip Maintenance which is his song but he didn't.

I always noticed the late Angela Rifano and Teddy Bukusa did not appear I'm guessing they both left at that point also I found it weird how Defao was singing Baby Ewing when it's Angela Rifano song.

Angela Rifano was still there. I remember him performing with Big Stars in 1998 during a public concert of Unibra in one of Kinshasa quarters. Debleu Kinanga was who was the chef d'orchestre at that time also didn't appear, but he was still recovering in the hospital.

These clips were better than those of Sala Noki. In Zongisa Bolingo, Defao looked like those rich boatowners based in Miami who are in their 60s and use young Cuban girls. I am wondering in which month of 1998 Copinage got released, because I saw Chantal Magao of Nouvelle Ecriture dancing with the girls who went the same year to Europe with Papa Wemba and already danced in the Ziggy of Reddy and Nouvelle Ecriture-videoclips.

Okay, I thought he left because he didn't appear in the clip but Debleu I understand because of the accident he experienced. The clips of Copingage looked more worked on whereas the Sala Noki clips were filmed at the Skol factory.

From my understanding, Nouvelle Ecrtiure went to Europe somewhere around March or April '98.

The succes of Sala Noki made Ndiaye get alot of profit and Defao getting on another dimension. Ndiaye surely saw that it was important to invest this time much more money the videoclips to get more sales and in hope to get another album. I remember that it was hard for many people to copy this VHS.

Why was it hard to copy?

It was a different sort VHS which made it hard to copy it to other VHS. They did that in order to prevent piracy, but still people managed to copy it (including my brother). I remember recently  the way EmilioDj complained  that he did managed to put the VHS on YouTube

Oh okay I'm guessing it's the same reason why the videos weren't released on DVDs

The DVD version exists I remember to have seen it back in 2008/09 at a shop in Brussels along with DVD version of Sala Noki, Tremblement de Terre and Amour Interdit

I don't think it exists anymore on the shelves.
