I wonder how your main soloist feels when you start testing other soloists. Tolbert Solo not creative enough? or some band members want something new?

i think its even him who brought him its his hometown they are performing at,and you can  see him being excited and being saluted by seguin
but i guess it all starts from  the logic musicians have when they perform outside kinshasa or sometimes in kinshasa when the kin concerts meant something they'd ask the crowd if there is musicians from that area willing to try their luck then if you are lucky and talented enough you join even if you were not needed,some joined like that and spent 10 plus years creating for others never even gettting a sniff of stage

Do these people get any sort of pay or something that makes it worthwhile

nahhh just the prestige of being in a big groups,and they rely on generosity of guys like heritier,genta and co (all those "vice presidents"in the groups )
I dont remember well whether its maison mere or bcbg but there was one soloist who made one concert appearance after his test in 2003 then never ever appeared even for entrances until he tried his luck 10 plus years later when capuccino left but his creativity had already dried being used by senior members so he could not stay,capuccino then had to borrow yahwe na solo from ponderation 8 to play his generiques until it seems he remained there

Tolbert is quite into giving back to the community. I think he has an NGO that supports community projects. It helps if you are testing and have a backing of an influential member. With this test, he has given the new soloist limelight. He must have also prepped him.
