Serge Kiambukuta (his real name Samuel Nzobazola) passed away. He was Josky Kiambukuta's nephew and his used uncle's name for his music-career. Like singer Ntesa Dalienst, he used to be a teacher in village Ngombe-Matadi before starting his music-career. He spend a short time as singer in Grand Zaiko Wawa and also sung in Youlou Mabiala's band Kamikaze, Moziki la Juventus of Brazzaville and orchestre Veve of Verckys Kiamuangana. He once recorded an album with his elders Ntesa Dalienst and Josky Kiambukuta. Serge Kiambukuta also wrote some articles in the famous magazine Grand Lacs of at that time London-based journalist Sam Pengo Bey under the name Serge Lemvo. It's been said that Serge Kiambukuta adopted the name Nlemvo from the school Ngoma Nlemvo not far from Kwilu Ngongo, where he used to study and took his high school diploma. I don't know if it true. Maybehe was ashamed of his name Nzobazola, like some Bakongo who used to have names like Lutu, Makiadi.
