The show was ok. The significant part of it was seeing them together. I think this was more important than the music itself. They still have one or two concerts in other countries, an album and there is talk of one european concert. I think the guys are old, the future is that of Ferre, Fally, Heritier, Inoss B..... For now I'm happy even just to see them chat. I was happy to see JB's daughter with Werra's wife.

After watching the concert, I can understand why Wenge 4X4 were better off apart. We were basically excited for absolutely nothing. Werrason was so selfish! He should never have done Makaba dirty like that.

LOL some of you guys are exaggerating, the concert wasn’t thaaaaat bad come on now. It wasn’t the best but it wasn’t the worst either. The instrumentalists were top notch, maybe we’re reading too much into the Makaba Werra thing. I’d rather watch this then watch a Koffi/Cindy, BCBG, Fally, or Ferre concert, because the quality’s of good concerts have gone down big time. Let’s see how they do for their next concert.

It’s because of the noise the Wenge guys were making like they would give the best concert of the century which made people like us excepting alot. I couldn’t stand long mabanga-lists. This is the worst Stade des Martyrs concert I ever saw.

I get it completely and I agree with you, they were hyping it up completely and I was disappointed too because they only played like 7 songs, when I wanted to hear so much more, but what I’m saying is in todays standards of concerts I’ve seen worse. But at the same time this is clan Wenge they’re the kings of overhyping stuff. Like I said we needed Alain Mpela there to add some extra spirit to the concert and Adolphe doing his funny dances, Let’s see if the album repairs any damage.

the problem is that no congolese artist will perform at martyrs and just be like "just come and hopefully we'll have a good show" they always hype it up way more ,its like fally said that he'd squash the stadium the expectation will be very high aswell  on every thing
heritier plans a martyrs after fally,i let you imagine the hype loooool especially now that he's brushed off that low profile he had few months ago and wants to prove again that he's a badboy

I am not mistaken this was about nostalgia and not a youthful energetic concert. Also, most of them were " walking on eggshells" so as not to bruise egos. Note in a normal concert, the band leadership would run things, this was not the case in the reunion. For me, it gave guys my agemates something to reminisce about.
