he was visited by durell loemba and he told him that he was thinking about creating a group since things changed after their suspension and durell said vieux its a good idea you should talk about it to espe roga and co and they went to espe's house as they used to gather there

they went to negotiate to perform even for one song but they first refused because they already had their program with upcoming groups and big stars they explain that they come from brazza and they came for even just opportunity to play one song and the guy asks where they are from in brazza and it happened that the guy lived in same area there,and he asked which family he is from and he said moyascko family and he happened to know his father which eased things and he managed to find space for them for the day after
when they performed the first song,there was crowd outside of the fair which was impressed and rushed to come and see who was performing and they were calling them wenge musica,and they performed another song which was a zaiko song and the crowd liked it aswell and they were allowed to play a third song because of that and this time they played their own song and it had great success so the promoters said that they should be put on the list for the next day and perform their own songs
and they signed a contract for 200K cfa but since now the challenge was bigger with a full concert they thought it was better to look for better instruments of quality and they went to hire instruments planning that it would be for 100K while when they went they were told 150 then they discussed between them and were not sure since it would leave little money and they managed to negotiate up to 125K and a vieux who heard about how they were struggleing decided to pay 25k so that they keep their 100 to share
and they impressed again and they were over the moon when they saw that their concert was shown on tv the day after and when they went back to brazza there was big party in their area as their fans were very proud
and from them they decided to perform at palais des congres in brazza but they thought it would be great to associate two presenters from kinshasa so that they win over kin brazza and pointe noire,so they called lukunku sampu and manda tchebwa and two weeks after they were meant to perform in kinshasa and it helped creating some buzz for them as news reached kin that there was a wenge of brazza very promising and which will come to perform
in the meantime they were introduced to some of the nguesso family and they were supportive and the association amicale internationale aswell
when they recorded first album there was a disagreement over what should be the first (and main song) they wanted roga roga's dieu l'eternel to be the first song until they listened to freddy nelson and then denide and his guys decided that freddy nelson would be the first song,but they wanted him to change title since freddy nelson was his nickname but it stayed like that
he reveals that his famous solo song later likasu was the first part of the freddy nelson song but they advised them to remove some parts and transform the song into more of a dance song so that introduction was given by roga roga the part where they introduce the group,the sebene originally meant to end that song was the one of dieu l'eternel then roga shifted it to his song and created something else
he was asked about the departures then the split and what happened in that period, and he said the first to leave was guyguy fall and he reveals there was a lot a problems around their second album to extent that he was thinking about destroying their recording tape
the artistic direction was unhappy with the fact his song was the main song of first album they used to go and rent somewhere where they should rehearse songs close to studio IAD and he was the one going to negotiate it,and to his surprise the instrumentists arrived there already before the singers and they had decided that second album should have no song from singers
he had then to reunite with the first team singers oxygene guyguy and regis touba,since the reserve guys hermann,doudou and abilissi were blindly obeying to roga and co he does not know why the instrumentists decided that but from his experience he believes they were fearing that a singer's song gets chosen again as the main song
he had his song panique totale,guyguy fall had the song for ma dani and oxygene who for him is the best writer of the whole clan of extra musica had songs aswell but they did not have producer anymore as there was a fallout with denide
he went to look for one of his vieux who was not a producer so he associated two guys who were bussinesmen which is on the second album its said GTM which is the first letters of each's name and he got them in touch with ferreol gassackys who dealt with them,he was not caring about how much they gave all he wanted that they could record,eat,go outside a bit
and he said when they were argueing with the instrumentists that what they'll do is that each member from the them to sonor can bring songs from which they will pick and there was like 20 songs and they had to vote to pick a limited number of songs
8 songs were picked oxygene had two songs,guyguy fall one, regis one,roga two,durell one,espe one,they refused to play his song panique generale because for them it was another style to theirs while he just wanted to show something different to mark a difference between 1st and 2nd album some sort of artistic maturity,he tried his best to take it fair play saying to himself that for example they just found the song difficult to execute to a final version
and to talk again about how the second album was done with tension he reveals that the instrumentists never rehearsed the singers' songs outside studio they learned it in studio while their songs were rehearsed by the whole group at that house they were preparing album in
he was upset that it was him who brought those who funded album but he did not get a song but he was happy that singers got to add their songs
the song succes extra they were rehearsing it already but he was surprised to hear that part about the creation of extra,even when roga was rehearsing with the reserve singers they never sang that part
he started explaining that that part already started with a lie when it includes ferreol gassackys at the creation of extra while he arrived later
he is asked to explain better the creation and he says the group was performing in funerals already before he ended up following them but there was not yet a name,when they had to chose a name its roga's name which sounded better,when durell came to visit him like said earlier he gave idea to form a band together and roga said they had the same idea but they were fearing to inform him since he was mava's cousin he asked them to take three days to look for a name and the end roga's name won because it was a cool name with the fact it was becoming a trend for groups to have musica in their name after the success of viva and wenge
he challenges roga to mention another date than the 1st of september as the start of extra musica since he likes to claim the group's foundation to himself a lot,they went to sing the parts about the extra creation when the first team singers were for most asleep it was guyguy fall hermann doudou and the first team singers discovered it when they were about to mix and they were surprised and it was originally quentin moyascko at the end of the names and he refused that his name was associated to a false version of the story and ask to remove his name and thats how they put ramatoulaye instead and he believes ferreol was manipulated to side with roga and co
him guyguy and durell have the same version,roga says his version and kila says extra is him roga and espe so it shows clearly that there is truth somewhere and there is those who twist history in their favour(funnily enough the order of the names in the extra song clearly shows how the roga camp considers the hierarchy in the clan)
he was very upset and confronted ferreol and was about to ask that they remove his parts in the instrumentists songs and roga tried to removed his vocal of denide song but the reserves were doing it well enough so it stayed and he told guyguy fall that he made a mistake in accepting to sing in that part and he told him that now with that song they had 9 songs instead of 8 and he fears that they'll remove fall's song because at that time it was 8 songs split in two faces of cassettes
he threatened to block the whole studio sessions if they dont remove that song with a false story and in front of older people who stepped in roga and co said yes but instead they managed to remove guyguy fall's song
in fact,they went to mali to perform it went well then roga and espe came to see him in his room and told him that guyguy fall had juju stuff on him which was against their rules

roga lied that there was a petition to fire guyguy from the group it was false,him and espe were in belgium to finish mix and mastering of album and stayed for 3 months and he was hearing that they removed guyguy's song and photo from poster
roga espe and ferreol did a clip of the succes extra song,he organized a reunion with the rest of the group and he called them and they promised that his song and photo on poster will remain and when they saw proof that guyguy's photo was back they were reassured that his song would be in aswell,but to their surprise it got removed
kongolo saddam had given fall the promise of a mercedes and some moneyy and the artistic directors were jealous that he'd get a mercedes before them
and its when album was out and there was not that song that fall got angry and left and went to france to claim french citizenship since his grandparents were french and it passed automatically to the rest
after that part there is a part where they quickly jumped towards recent times to ask about relationship of him with roga and he says roga's ego has gone through the roof and he sees himself bigger than anybody,he called him once thinking they had squashed their beefs of the past already as they got back on some talking point at a certain moment and roga shouted at him why are you calling me, you are an hypocrite and almost went as far as insulting his parents and he does not understand why he reacted like that,all he did was to tell his honest past of the story or maybe its because he is close to sonor that roga got angry
they went back the moments prior to the split,and at some point before an ivory coast concert ramatoulaye came to tell him that when they come back he'd rather become a taxi driver because he really is not happy with the payment he receives and indeed he noticed that there was something going on with the money of the group so he called for a reunion as the president and he made a plan of how they can solve the payment issue to satisfy everybody and he says if the other admins are not happy with it he does not see how they can go for long together if people keep being frustrated and roga asked they'd start with who and he said he thinks they should start with the youngest
they were making 5million a week as income and he suggested that for example they could give 1million500 each or split in two alternatively to each musician of that turn so that he can start a project which would generate extra funds for him to complete with salary especially as sometimes they were having time off without concert so those extra funds would be helpful,roga asked who they'd start with and he said the youngest and it was sonor and roga said "what? why him? so you want him to get rich before me?" and he is asked if he is not inventing it and he says no he has no time for that he is somebody who likes to say the truth,if some like to lie like most people breathe thats up to them
he reveals that there was votes to remove him as president at some point but to their surprise he still won,maybe thanks to his behavior of not being a super president with a huge distance to the rest of the group he was not bothered to go visit any member of the group from the admins to the last ones and until today he has kept that style of being close to his group
what could have been his last concert with the guys was a concert in ivory coast which he had negotiated with late ahmed bakayoko but he refused to go seeing what was happening with roga and co and papyjah who had taken in the group wanted to stay aswell but he told him this is your first opportunity to travel since you joined go with them,if he had gone to ivory coast with them probably with the split he would have taken most of the group with him since they were with him,but the fact that ivory coast represented an opportunity to make some money and its there that their mind was made to change
he asks if there is to be a concert of reconciliation of extra musica what should be done for it to happen, and he replies reconciliation can happen but he doubts a concert of reconciliation can happen because they'd have to perform in their original roles and if its not like that then its not a real reconciliation more like some sort of extra musica festival,if there is a real reconciliation singers should remain singers instrumentists who have gone to singing should go back to their instruments and he gives example of wenge recently alain makaba and masela became singers at times after wenge in their solo career but they performed with wenge as guitarists throughout concerts,while roga will never accept to go back to guitar for a full concert
he considers himself more like a singer now and even when he plays guitar you can sense that he is not practicing as intensely as in the past or maybe he can help out on animation,it may sound like he is mocking him but no he is being serious and honest roga is a versatile musician he played keyboard and bass on some songs without people knowing and also some of kila mbongo's animation were his he can really create animation
if they are to perform the songs they did together they have to respect the positions of each,each of them is still alive
he still remembers their experience of 2013 when they were meant to perform as reunited extra musica after 20 years and roga performed separately with the zangul he was now fully leading and sang polemique generale which was a post split song and a diss song completely unadapted to the context which made fans angry and they throw stones and various things which forced to stop the concert and the project stopped there while they had other cities of congo to perform in
