Is Nouvelle Ecriture still together or did the band break up because of Wemba dying?

Nouvelle Ecriture/Nouvelle Ecrita still exists. Papa Wemba renamed it into Viva la Musica around 2008, because of the original one "Cour des Grands" based in Europe being totally inexisting. They released last year an album called "La Voie du Maitre" under artistic direction of Maika Munan and Tosha Fulakanda (who's the chief of the band). The album has several guests such as Luciana Demingongo, Reddy Amisi and late Général Défao. In the album it's Bébé Wemba "Neymar" who's doing the role of Papa Wemba. The album is ok, but for whatever reason people are not paying attention it.

About the band itself. Many left quickly after Wemba's death, due to disagreement with Amazone (Wemba's widow) about money and went each their own way. Pompom Miyake was the first one to leave, after being fired for singing in Kenya to pay tribute Wemba and tried a solo-career. Soliste Zamba got fired with some singers for performing Matadi without Amazone's permission. Bendoson left 2 years after it, because of not being happy that they wanted want to accept him as president and also the leadership war against Tosha Fulakanda.This made him start also a solo career. Than after seeing that he was going nowhere, Bendoson decided along with Pompom Miyake, ex'Nouvelle Ecriture singer Jean Apocalyps, singer Anthony Sampiao, Pathy Patecko and former Viva guitarist of 80s Stella Uomo to form a band called Bana Viva. They were recently joined by atalaku Biscuit des Ecoliers who left Viva la Musica being fed up that they were only doing rumba's in concerts and him almost not being on stage, sometimes even not animating. Pathy Patechko already left and Anthony Sampaio as well. Many consider for whatever reason Bendo's band as the real Viva la Musica. I see it as Nouvelle Ecriture de l'An 2000 2.0, which he, Pompom Miyake, Christian na Nzenze and Ramazani formed back in 2000. But didn't succeed due to financial difficulties and being boycotted.

Both Aimelia and Calugi were battling in public concerts in multiple areas of Kinshasa to see who could intepret Manda's vocal in Kalayi Boeing and Aimelia ended up by winning because his voice was higher than that of Calugi also back than he was singing better than Calugi altough some of Wenge 4x4 not really liking his voice and wanting another singer. Another thing also was that I think one of Aimelia's cousins was married to JB's family plus he was from Matete/Lemba, which was important to lure more fans into Wenge 4x4 like the way they got alot fans when they recruited Manda who was from N'djili. Calugi than started to focus more on animation and became atalaku, but was left behind Anges Adorables vol. 1 & 2 recordings which made Ekokota do some of his cries. Many don't know that Makaba's song Douglas Ilumbe was actually a song that Calugi brought from his band and that he used to sing along with Al Pacino. Al Pacino reworked the song in one of Ngadiadia's album as Angie.
