the whole band was upset because the brothers are blocking their money and being harsh towards them(every 5 year or so wazekwa's brothers return heavily in the group's administration and do what they want which their brother trusts since blood is thicker than water like they say) it took an intervention from kibens to avoid him literally sacking the whole band because even eclipse was upset because he did his clips of his songs but an order had been given by the admins to tvs not to promote it

Now that I think about it, what would have happened if he sacked the whole band? Just him without any musicians? Even the instrumentalists?

he said he is not out there to start beef with wazekwa again but since they were fired they will just do their job because he has 5 kids to feed who are all already in ages where they are quite demanding so he cant stay like that so he followed his big brother from the same area ceden to collaborate with him, not that they are on a rebel group to start frontal beef but in order to continue their career

Do you think Wazekwa is in the wrong? I feel like they need a one on one conversation to clear any misunderstandings between the men. However, I am generally against old members returning to their groups because they are advanced in life (children, extended families, ect) and are high maintenance. There's always a high chance of problems because the money is never enough

Nah I raly think he wanted to go the Innoss Route where there are just performers for videos but he tours alone, and if he'd really done that his career would have been over, even thinking about firing Ecliplse, Indietro Nikkei or the famous dancer with the big behind it is crazy, I mean  it is crazy to think that Wazekwa really believes he can carry his group alone when in his songs the guys who always shine are other people

Mmmm to be honest he is, if you want to do music by your own that's OK, find a ebatmaker or make the beat yourself buy a computer and then put the PC on when you perform so you can sing on the beat, but for Wazekwa HE wanted to have a Band, HE decided to promise them a monthly salary, HE promise them that they would be well taken care of, but he failed to keep his promises and tbh he is lucky that the group still have all those members. I mean he indirectly said that he is a millionaire, and he doesn't have money to even give 200 or 300 a dollar a month to his band? Gessac said that he was the only one with a car in that group, can you believe it? Eclipse without a car Cascadeur without a car, Indietro Without a car, Mboyo Londo without a car, it does give a bad image of the group and makes people clown Wazekwa cause he seems like he is a broke dude, I mean even But Na Fillet pay his musician with regularity what does Wazekwa misses to do that

they had one on one conversation several times but then after his noisy brothers would step in,there is for example a 13 k or something like that wazekwa unlocked when pressure started rising so that they buy 4 cars for the 4 chiefs,eclipse ceden indice nikkei and joss and then they say naaaaaahh do you think that werra or jb buy car to people they are grown men they have to find money themselves
which is why ceden and joss got absolutely furious when wazekwa said on tv that they had no songs when asked why its only him who releases since he has adopted system of singles and not anymore of group albums,they got angry because releasing songs would have got them some money even though it would not be as high as in other big name groups,since cultura has the reputation of rumbas very rarely succeeding(they'd struggle to hit the 10k which is normally the minimum standard)
since joss and ceden insisted to release songs the brothers decided to do like in maison mere og quartier latin bcbg which was not happening before in cultura,by taking some money from the singer or guitarist before allowing him to release a song
so ceden gave 1000 dollars to add 2 songs but nothing happened and they were refusing to give him back the money so he decided to take it back from wazekwa himself by getting 300 from him to buy a phone since he was part of those who participates in filming their spots and concerts then 700 to for rent warranty
wazekwa even threw a shot at him in the recent generique for that "they are talking bad about me on the phone they bought with my money" refering to the audios of the group and musicians and new spokesmen are attacking him about it
i spoke with vieux early today i think he regrets what is happening but he is trying to save face because if he acts too soft in public he might lose authority on the remaining band,even his brothers do not know that behind the scenes he tried to bribe  the guys with money indirectly via people to return and apologize to participate to the martyrs but it was too late because the guys already felt humiliated
i just hope that once the guys are back to europe he'll restart doing at least a bare minimum of what he was doing before their return but i have a feeling it might continue,since he told gesac joss and ceden that current congolese music is all about leaders and constantly gave the example of fally saying that when people come to watch fally they could not care less who is around of him from the singers to the instrumentists so it shows that everybody is replaceable except the leader
