Yeah I remember people in Europe being mad about Werrason and JB Mpiana performing that long on stage and alot of youngsters being in crowd, saying that they were contributing by making the young generation dump and when the combattans-phenomenon starting often using this event as example. But they forgot that it were the fanatics who forced them to keep performing until the rival would stop and Werrason even threatened by his fanatics who were about to throw stones at a moment, when they though that they would stop, while they just needed a break. Also they forgot that FIKIN is mostly during the summer holidays since it starting. Back in the days always started from July 2nd until the end of the holiday and from the late 90s until 2014, starting in the second week of August until the 3th week of September.
Anyway most people in Europe were mad about Werrason, because of JB's DVD being released first. Many concluding that Werrason was close to the governement of that time. It indirectly inspired combattans to block concerts in Europe. I remember journalist Baby Balukuna saying to Koffi, that people in Brussels being ready to block concerts of Congolese artists. Also many people in Paris and Brussels becoming against Werrason, seeing him as a pro-Kabila. Which is why Werrason came with Maison Mère to tour in 2006-07, they blocked 2 of his concerts in Paris and messed his show in Brussels up, which made him perform in an empty hall. He was lucky that still a part of combattans were his fans and negotiacions making him able to finish his tour and perform with problems, otherwise the concert-ban in the Schengen-area would already have started since 2006. However, from that moment combattans would kept trying to block his concerts Paris everything if would come for a big event until they succeed in 2011.
