I said that Felix should have remained a solo artist in my view but as Mfumu Mvuta would tell us, he wanted to have a band and wanted a base in Kinshasa with a band. Felix was making these songs while still being in Europe.

IMO, Tetragramme is a strong candidate for Wazekwa's best album. I enjoy most of his work (before he went off the rails) but this album feels like simpler times.

This is a difference having the best session artists in that era around makes,now he can sing how he wants if you utter a word and germain or jean pierre are there get ready for your suspension lol

Bands are more entertaining.  Playback or backtrack system on the stage is not what I prefer, and probably anyone with deep understanding of the art of music and is in their blood would not prefer Playback and backctrack on the stage. KASSAV have been together for over 40 years and yet  they still make very buetifull and professional concerts with their
band.
