This was when JB Mpiana finally performed in Brussels after 6 years of absence (the last show being in 2002). The concert took place at Tour & Taxi. It would also be JB’s last concert in Brussels, because when he arrived in 2010 for the Mpunda-tour, Bana Congo blocked his concert, because of activist Armand Tungulu getting killed in Kinshasa for throwing stones at Joseph Kabila’s cortege. JB Mpiana ended up by visiting Armand’s widow and continued the tour with concerts in Switzerland, Germany and a second one at Dock Eiffel before returning back to Kinshasa.
