when they arrived and deo sat on his drums he noticed his chair got bizarrely broken so he asked for those beer crates we have in africa to put under the chair to stabilize and still play and after the concert he said every musician has to go back home with the bus because he saw how deo's friends were driving super fast on their way to the hall and during the concert he saw them drinking a lot of alcohol  deo was not willing to obey and chabrown also was tempted to follow them since they were from the same crew of matete the same group of friends but he convinced him and while the bus had not gone yet the car deo was in already went and was once again driving super fast until the accident happened and the car was unrecognizable,some people died straight away some were injured and the driver is still alive and ran away to south africa and was the son of a bank director who stole his dad's car to go and party
they saw an accident on the way but could not imagine it was them until they arrived to their rehearsal hall of molokai and were called to be informed that deo died and they were even told that julie mulanga died aswell because she was also in either that car or another one then they started looking for hospital where deo was he was still alive but in a critical situation and they wanted to have MRI to know how serious the damage was but that doctor told them to wait first to see how he reacts by the end of the day and the same day when the family of deo and the musicians arrived doctor called lambio lambio and told him that if by 5 of the next morning he did not die they could take him to the other hospital for MRI but it will be an absolute miracle if he survives without having lifelong irreversible damage and at 5 deo died like doctor predicted
about alpatshino he says that  it started from rumours of him dating julie mulanga which is highly forbidden in groups and papa wemba was in europe and when he arrived lambio informed him of it and papa called alpatshino at home and said if its serious then we have to organize your wedding and alpa kept denying that he was dating her possibly fearing trouble,papa insisted but he still refused to admit then papa asked aswell if it was true that he was doing his album and he denied and papa said he needs to be honest he does not mind it at all since many viva musicians of before did their albums in his band he just needs to be honest and he'll give him the band to record and he'll come to sing when its his turn alpa kept denying and he insisted again that if they are a serious couple alpa should marry julie  and let her retire from music to avoid constant drama around the group and that he'll fund their wedding he kept denying
so papa who was already having the traditional one shots here and there like most leaders with julie and who was willing to abandon it should he get the confirmation that they were really together and felt like alpa was taking the piss out of him in trying to deny then started treating julie like a sidechick and rented a house for her and so on and it drove alpa mad and he released his album without papa singing and left the group

So sad how Deo Sfr died. He was one of the best drummers of Congo. He hadn't even showed 50% of his talents to the world.


But Julie was also not serious. You are dating someone but at the same time sleeping with your boss. It's better to hear two side's of the story. Alpatchino has now nobody to defend him since Shakakongo passed away. In the end it was just not smart from Alpatchino to date a dancer from your band. I can understand Alpa's reaction to Wemba, because in Congolese bands you may risk a huge 12 in such situations.

If only they followed protocol, it reminds me of Aimelia back in 1999. Had he road the bus like everyone else, the accident wouldn't of happened, he wouldn't have been exiled from BCBG and the dancer wouldn't have been paralyzed.

I'm not sure if Blaise Kombo situation is similar because the roads in Congo are troublesome the further away from Kinshasa you go.

So what was the story? Because I remember my Dad telling me that a lot of people said that Alpatshino drank poison or something like that cause he discovered Papa Wemba was dating her, but he also told me that no one knew the real truth. So I am confused what was the truth? Anyway it is so sad How Alpatshino is no longer with us. I wonder what would be his mark on his music today if he was still alive?
