As the title says I listened to Diamond vol 2 and in my opinion volume 1 is much much better but what I did I put songs into sections for example the sebene dance songs, the songs featuring QL and songs featuring Cindy, just so it's easier for some.

I tried the first week then gave up as usual. There are some decent songs but in terms of rhumba creativity it’s an extension of Platinum Diamond, which is an extension of 13ème Apotre, which is an extension of Abracadabra

The lack of acoustic instruments on this album also bothers me. It sounds like most of it was recorded at his home studio

Don’t get me wrong, I still think he has the strongest catalog of any solo artist, but the album releases post-BEK don’t capture me

Lmao I had to brother I had to take one for the team. The album isn’t special and the sound and mixing on some songs isn’t right, which is strange because one thing Koffi never plays about is sound. I liked the songs in Legende ED Diamond, because there were 14 songs, no Cindy, and the songs were good so I wouldn’t write off that album. As for the others no comment

Volume 1 was really good. Innos B's brother put some really good work in the sound coupled with Koffi's impeccable songwriting in Andress, Femme, Pont Rouge, Tresor Public, Julie Case
