Thank you for posting this. I was crying when I heard this song some days ago. It is really a great song. I agree with you. I feel like Papa Wemba was saying what he would say in this interview but in this song, he was being more imaginary about it.
But this song also sounds like he was somewhat inspired by Madilu's song Kupanda.
There are similarities between Kupanda and Poule de Mort in dedication for one person in particular. For Papa Wemba, he wanted to sing to Tresor Ngando while for Madilu, he wanted to sing to Didier Kinwani. Both men were letting those men know that they were about to die soon and they want them to tell others to prepare for their deaths.
