Roger Ngandu once said that JB Mpiana would start with world music after having performed at Stade de France 2001, when reacting against Wenge Maison Mère about them performing at Bercy. But did JB Mpiana himself ever thought about doing foreign collaborations like his brother Werrason and/or making world-music ?

he did some like the one with jessy matador, then had opportunities with kaysha, youssou ndour and co but as you surely know already jb's logic is that he has to be fuuuuuuuulllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy convinced before doing something, once he feels he can or not do something and it will change nothing he does not bother, and like he says he does not want to be feeling like he is begging somebody to give him spotlight
