Thats very true, he is also over repeating these cries, but I think solution is giving back atalakus their job instead of quitting.

He does not need to quit. He has to let the atalakus do their job. There is a ton of good generiques they do in the rehearsals but they never make it into an album nor a single

I want him to also get rid of Volcan his style is so monotonous and slow he should just go to Zaiko. Out of all number one soloists in QL history he’s the weakest.

Maybe it's because of Koffi requesting him to play like that. I remember Koffi twice saying that Volcan is one of the best solist in Congo, that he's able to play every style Wenge, Zaiko, QL, OK Jazz, Folklore, etc. and that he has alot of potential.

Not gonna lie Flamme Kapaya has spoilt us. Congolese soloists who can't play fast licks or Wenge MMM style are not on the "Hot" list. But then Koffi is older now, he can't move like he used to during Felly Tyson/Lebou Kabuya  days, so maybe these slow generiques are okay with him.
