So Zulema was already in Kinshasa for 1 year before joining Maison Mère ? That must have been a huge deception for Bozi, thinking that Kabose was returning for him and Kabose also participating to the first rehearsals, only to see him join Maison Mère in the same period.

If Mbuta Likasu was from Bandundu or a Muluba, they would have called him a tribalist for openly talking that way and trying to unite Kabose, But na Filet and Ferre, because of them being Bakongo.I remember that all Congolese people are becoming regionalists, which is not necessarily bad, but 15 years or 20 years ago, it was rare to see Congolese people talking openly that way. It was always hidden.

So the story of Defao making a girl pregnant in Kisantu and getting cursed by the father, who said that he would make a woman from him and never get a children until he acknowledge the child he had with his daughter, is fake ? It crazy how that story kept following Defao even after his death.

lol, Defao disbanding Big Stars didn’t start today. Hearing Mbuta Likasu talk about Defao handing him a cassette of Michael Jackson in the 1990s to ask it back in 2015, made me conclude that Defao could become mad over the smallest things. Maybe that Big Stars would still exist if the conflict they had during US-tour happened in Africa, for the way Kabose explained how the whole band rejoined after that fans, influent-donors, admins kept trying to reconcile Defao with his musicians and kept insisting with Big Stars being reunited after 3 months. I hope that there’s a footage of the new band Defao formed with Do Akongo as singer, Kabose, Burkina Faso and co. That must have been before the Donat Mikamba album in 1994. 

What Kabose said about Jirbo Ntuta, other Congolese artists would never tell the full story, invent one to be act lto be like a angel or just ignore the person and say that he doesn’t know him. If I remember well Jirbo Ntuta told the same story to Teddy Mola. Big Stars was basically next to the people coming from Ngiri-Ngiri, the band of people coming from Kisantu. It’s rare to see bandleaders that grew a part up in Kongo-Central, wanting to have alot musicians from their village/city in their band. Most would reject them when doing tests or humiliate them when coming at home before the test and insult them “villagois” or “mbokatie”, while they came from there.


The story of many having many letters from Kisantu and Kinshasa killed me and him sleeping with the letters, after discovering that he wouldn’t go anymore. We come from far. Now people just can send messages through whatsapp to their families. I really wonder what Kabose did. Did he brought those letters back to those people or did he gave it to a mikiliste who was in Kinshasa ? That must have been a huge humiliation, thinking that you well travel to Europe, but being ending up by getting left behind. Hearing how Big Stars went in small portions to Europe each week, makes me conclude that it was a bad organised tour. Why could Defao just not send a letter, that Kabose, Montana and co would go anymore the following week  Didn’t Lofombo say to Mbuta Likasu, that the tour was normally meant for just Defao himself and not Big Stars ?

What made Defao accept Debleu Kinanga back into Big Stars and not Djodjo Bayinge and Mogus ? I must watch Azanga’s interview with Mbuta Likasu back. I hope that we will find more answers about the Europe-tour, when Mbuta Likasu will go with Roga Roga to Canada. Late Djodjo Bayinge was lucky to manage to get back into Europe. Did rhythm player Mogus succeed to go back to Europe ?

I really doubt what Kabose said about Big Stars having a contract for Zenith de Paris and LSC, after the succes of Amour Intedit. Did he not mistake Zenith with the missed trip of 1999 ? Because before 1998, nobody was performing at huge halls. It’s only now taking my attention that Defao missed multiple trips to Europe with Big Stars. Because in one of the songs in the Amour Interdit-album, he said they were coming soon to Europe, the same one song in the  Sala Noki-album, giving a shout-out to Espoir Mpova and saying “tozali koya, se koya”. In the bonus of Tremblement de Terre-clips, Defao was saying that they were going soon to Europe (I hope that it will be put on youtube one day), but the visa’s got sadly rejected (Defao used to accuse Koffi for it) and Defao later going on his own. Then in the song Table Ronde from Guerre de 100 Ans, he also said that they were coming soon. But Defao in the same period getting a contract for USA and him preferring that one instead of that for Europe. If Defao managed to get Big Stars in Europe in 1998, the tour have been a huge impact. Because Sala Noki was a huge succes in Europe and people started to see through cassettes (including the one of Ivory Coast) that Defao's fame was huge in Africa.

Former dancer Tshotsholi claimed that Defao fired the whole band, when family members attacked and accused him for wanting to sacrifice his bandmembers for fame, when they got badly injured in a huge car-accident, after finishing filming the videoclips for Sala Noki at the Bracongo-factory in Kingabwa. Which is probably why there were different dancers in Copinage, since that those who danced in Sala Noki, didn't return back like the singers and instrumentalists. I hope that it doesn't 1 or 2 year for Mbuta Likasu to record a part 2 with Kabose. Because until this day he hadn't done part 2 with Polystar Coreen and many other artists
