Asake revealed on TikTok that he reached out to Fally in hope of doing a collaboration for his upcoming album and to Asake’s surprise Fally revealed he charges 50K for a feature request and Asake was hoping that the feature would be free since he Fally would need him to reach the Anglophone market which is his way of belittling Fally.

Now all Congolese fans have united and are dragging Asake to the point that even Asake’s own fans have turned on him by saying Fally is a legend and is within his rights to request 50K. In my opinion 50K is even a generous offer from Fally.

Generally how much are features going for? Honestly Congolese artists probably should start featuring with wider audiences to get our genre more exposure. I feel like it’s hurting us in promotions.

It’s all over TikTok and Facebook so it came from somewhere. But still 50K is a decent price cause some others would charge way more for a feature. If it is true then it isn’t right for Asake to belittle Fallys success like that

Such low behaviour from Asake, if Fally is so unimportant and needs you as you said why you are making a TikTok going mad about it lol, Nigerian artists need to understand that just because they speak English doesn't mean their music is bigger then ours, they copied us and now they think they the stars, if any Francophone artist was serious about learning English and go to America you would see all of those Nsuka artist disappear

Yes cancel culture is so annoying tbh, I think nowadays fans over do it, ironically the only place you can do anything and not get cancelled is in Congolese music

Exactly what you just said “people” it didn’t come from Asake’s mouth & theres no evidence Asake saying it on social media it was a made up rumour. The reason behind fake news is to get people talking like what they’re doing right now

the more i think about it the more i find it obvious that its very suspect,because no way such a splitting opinion would not lead to back and forth with fally and asake THEMSELVES asked about it
i repeat its  possible that asake could think like that, and i gave example of american rappers who told french rappers that they were doing them a favour to accept feating with them so  they should drop the payment thing they ask,but its suspect this much noise with little to no evidence from both artists directly to comment on it

Asake thinking like that would be very stupid especially since Fally is from a different generation as him & has done collaborations with other Nigerian artists

But the “quotes” can’t be traced back only on a Nigerian french account & Nigerian twitter are known for starting rumours & because of how big their side of twitter is the news spreads fast.
