At that era it was rare to see a Congolese VHS that would last less than 1 hour, if the main subject was short, they would add different concerts or videoclips to fill the VHS with it to make it long. There's no band that had that many cassettes released on the market for their Bercy-show. Wenge BCBG had 5 of the market (Taxi pour Bercy, Bercy a la Tortinette, Metro pour Bercy, Enfin Bercy and BCBG va corriger Bercy-100% célébrité). There's no artist that won that much of trophees as JB Mpiana during one ceremony of ACMCO (9 trophees). Except the one of song of the year (in my opinion it was Vita-Imana that should won), JB Mpiana deserved all trophees. It's a shame that the VHS "Taxi pour Bercy", that included the ceremony with Kis Kisolokele representing Wenge BCBG in Kinshasa, dissapeared from youtube. There are only some short extracts of the PPU's performing on youtube. It was btw the first that people in Europe discovered that through that video. You can sense the difference of journalist that was back in the days to today, by the way Lolo Milolo was not asking JB or insisting him to cite Werra's name, when JB was firing shots at Werrason, by saying that "its all about talent". Today it would be totally different. At the same time, it seems that it was from that era, it was impossible for artists to not do interviews without firing shots. Here JB Mpiana fired a shot at Koffi by asking "on which age did they perform at Bercy ?" 2001 was the year of the kick scooter. I wonder if Wenge BCBG months later attacked Celeo on tv for using it in Kinshasa to enter with it in Stade des Martyrs, because Congolese artists like to be pioneers. The amount of concerts that JB gave from September till March during the Europe tour was a record at that time. Them performing even in countries like Ireland, Austria, Finland, etc. was rare at time. They set a record amount of releasing cassettes of Europe-concerts (more than 12 cassettes)What did keyboard player Erick became ? It is that he talked about keyboards otherwise I wouldn't know who was. I wonder what Kibens was thinking, when Alain Mpela said that he was recruited him and explaining how some were against him joining BCBG (Alain Makaba). I remember some BCBG-fans claiming back in the days that Kibens, Rio and Chai were better than Ferre, Baby, Lacoste and co.I'm surprised to hear that it was also Maitre Kembo who did the choreography of Zenith. Because late Lambio Lambio used to claim that it was him who made the choreography of the famous intro, claiming that he taught them with Anya Star and that JB paid him big money for it. But I seems that he's right, because I believe to have seen him among one of the male dancers dancing at l'Esplanade de Palais du Peuple, where they already were dancing that intro before JB Mpiana's entrance, him also later dancing during the sebene of RDC. I hope that the full video of "De à Paris", which includes that show, gets uploaded one day on youtube. JB says here that Wenge BCBG is only band that has 5 mercedes Benz 600, but he forgot that Quartier Latin had more when returning from Bercy. I think JB Mpiana just didn't had to seek revenge againt Werrason by planning to do a LSC the same day as Werra's Bercy and just going Bercy straight away. The WMM-camp used that as an opportunity to start claiming that JB just skipped Bercy (a sauter Bercy), because of being afraid to not selling out. If he just performed straight away at Bercy all that stuff that happened afterwards would have taken place. He had the badluck that 9/11 happened. It's a shame that JB never had an idea to make a comeback at Bercy years later, to shut everybody's mouth. Because the story of Bercy 2001 would follow him years long. The concert at Esplanade de Stade des Martyrs is of 2000. It was just after the double event at FIKIN 2000, who were the first official concerts of JB Mpiana after the release of TH. It's a shame that they just made a compilation of the shows at FIKIN 2000, l'Esplanade de Palais du Peuple and Terrain Municipale de Bandalungwa, releasing them as 'TH-Tournée Kinoise' by Babs Production, instead of releasing them seperatly as full VHS. I remember my cousin buying that VHS along with another VHS which was called 'TH', only to be pissed when discovering that it wasn't the official clips VHS, but just a compilation VHS with different videos of JB (performance at the French embassy, the presentation of Kilimanjaro on tv, the clip of Papito Mbala and a preview of Education videoclip that never came out). Was that Motingia of Zaiko holding the bass guitare ? 44:01 min It were the last years of guitarists and bassplayers randomly visting other bands to play guitar or bass over there. I just noticed that Nadine Molisho was the only that didn't wear an uniform like other dancers. It's just that JB Mpiana didn't take 6 or 8 dancers to LSC otherwise, she wouldn't have returned to Victoria Eleison not danced in the Longue Histoire-clips nor being dancing at Zenith and Olympia for Emeneya44:43 min Was Winnie Mandela that long part of Wenge BCBG ? I thought that she joined somewhere in 2002 or 2003. 46:53 She was supposed to travel with BCBG to LSC, but JB Mpiana made Nono travel with her passeport, because of Amida (according Nono's own words) wanting to kill her. 50:49 The reaction of BCBG-members killed me hahaha. Look how they are forcing Kibens on stage hahahaha. (51:40 min). Was Kibens really planning to marry Maguy ? Or was he giving her false hopes.54:43 Alain Mpela indirecly hinting about Tutu Calugi being Monica's boyfriend, by citing Ngiri-Ngiri. But she then lied about late Maitre Baja being her fiancée
yeah it was allowed first until it started bringing tensions, there was for example kibens with maguy, tutu and afande with late monica, genta with zambrotta and the longest lasting of them richard and bibi sucrethen maguy moved to tonya tonya because they had to make a choice and from then on their relationship started changeing
