I mean what else he should have said? Congolese fans are really annoying and tbh it is extremely hard for a Francophone African act or Francophone act in general to become global, because a large part of the English audience won't understand what you say, you can have a song with a billion views like Stromae, but you will be never viewed  like a Drake a Kendrick Lamar, etc, for example Stromae should be as big as Drake due to his impact alone but since he is Francophone his impact kn English speaking people is reduced, same with Maitre Gims and tbe rest of The Francophone singers/rappers

Absolutely,  especially Fally and Koffi, man they would have been global, also Werrason with his wild shows and dancing he used to do back in the day, if Koffi wrote something like Fouta Djallon but in English, only God knows where he could have been, and also Fally due to the very high end organization he put into everything of his career would be regarded as a great pop star. Burna Boy is great don't get me wrong but I don't think he have a classic like Fouta Djallon and the only Nigerian artist I think is on the same level of Koffi t h is Fela Kuti, from Davido, to Burna Boy to Wizkid yes they are massive artists but you will very hardly find lyrics who are kn the same level even if Burna Boy tries to do that occasuonally
