I wonder if they would have returned to Kinshasa if they had toured in Europe. It has been said that Reddy doesn't pay his musicians (worser than Papa Wemba) and him also being rude to them, I don't know if he changed. In Kinshasa musicians barely stand up for their rights,  when they’re not well known or have just released their first album. But once they're in Europe, it's often the opposite. Some even run away after just one or two concerts, which is probably why some bandleaders choose to pay their musicians only when the tour is over or claim they'll get paid back in Kinshasa

Talking about Reddy Amisi, I remember him doing an interview with Johnson Keto in 2008 or 2009, Johnson asking if he pays he musicians and Reddy proudbly replying that Papa Wemba wasn't paying them, so why should he pay his musicians regularly

Yes, but that was after more than 20 years of waiting. The most talented artists; Guy Bayaya, Marcahouse, Richacha, Fuala Bass, Blaise Créateur, late Picasso, etc. had already left a long time ago. Back in 2003, when the album Compteur à Zéro was hot, people in Europe were waiting for La Casa’s shows. But instead, Reddy prefered to do playback shows in Paris, Brussels, London and Geneva.

The Bataclan concert didn’t feature the full band either. It was a mix of session musicians and a few original members of La Casa. Most people came because of Reddy’s past and nostalgic memories, not for what he represents today. I don't believe that random people are able to sing atleast 2 songs from his last album 'Bailo Canto' while many still know songs like Aziza or Assisant Social. Till this day men or women that decide to break up without informing their partner and not coming back home are called Aziza. People often like to quote Reddy's sentence in the beginning of Aziza, when explaining similar stories on Tiktok or Facebook. The same about the song Assistant Social, when someone passes away as a poor person that used to be celebrity or a rich person, people will quote on social media in the comments the words that Reddy used towards the end "na nioso obandaki kozwa, obombaki te". There was a time that people would sing the chorus of  Mawe during matches at Stade des Martyrs, when a team was about to lose against As Vita or CS Imana. It's crazy how Stade des Martyrs and Stade Tata Raphael are today empty during local matches even when derbies are taking place.
