I didn't knew that Ferre and Fally performed on the same stage. I thought that both guys didn't show up at the Kora Awards edition of 2008. With all succes Fally had the previous year with Droit Chemin remix and the featering Mokobe made with him in French speaking countries, you would except him to win that edition in the category of Best Artist of Central Africa

The success of Droit Chemin remix, Malembe featuring Mokobe, Chaise Electrique with Olivia of G Unit along with Jukpa with J Martins gave Fally more notoriety and recognition in the African music/World Music sphere. He definitely had a surge of popularity in the 2010s.

Fally's advantage is his ability to collab with numerous artists and mixing rumba with urban R&B to capture new audiences and listeners from various parts of the world.
