When something is related to Papa Wemba or Viva la Musica, I have always that image of Awilo as a drummer

loool few days ago i saw one of the most followed facebook pages of the community post awilo drumming and saying it like "awilo also has another talent" while the guy was a drummer for 20 years before switching to singing by circumstance,but then at the same time these pages act like congolese music was invented by fally and ferre and they tolerate incursion of koffi jb werra here and there because they at least got to see the start of fally and ferre around them

Mfumu, you have a good point however it was a good thing that Awilo and Papa Wemba even worked together after Awilo Longomba left Viva La Musica in 1992. I think that it was the last time that Awilo Longomba and Papa Wemba ever worked together. I don't think that they ever collaborated together musically after this song as Awilo Longomba would become himself a big star.
