I think she was also in Wenge BCBG too.
She was only part of Quartier Latin and Wenge Tonya Tonya. She tried to join the Fioti Fioti’s when they were created by the late Lambio Lambio, but since the group already had too many members, she went to Quartier Latin instead and immediately became a key member. Koffi Olomidé even gave her a shout-out in the song Sans Anesthésie from the album Attentat.
In the same album, Attentat, she was given the privilege to dance in both Part 1 and Part 2 of the video clips and took part in the Bercy trip. After that, she also appeared in the videos for Force de Frappe and was part of the team that went to the Zénith 2001 trip. After the trip to the United States , late Monica Celeste from Wenge BCBG joined and together with Chouchou, they created several choreographies seen in the clips of Effrakata.
After returning to Kinshasa from Effrakata, Chouchou got into conflict with Koffi, which led to him leaving her behind during the Affaire d’État trip. As a result, she decided to join Wenge Tonya Tonya along with dancers Midi Kompressor and Miss Coulibaly, who had also been left behind. Their arrival in Wenge Tonya Tonya created a lot of polemique and worsened the feud between Koffi Olomidé and Adolphe Dominguez. Jordan Kusa was also approached to join Wenge Tonya Tonya but declined the offer.
For unknown reasons, Chouchou Mbayo later decided to leave Wenge Tonya Tonya the following year and rejoined Quartier Latin, who had just returned from the United States and were preparing for their Monde Arabe tour. However, Koffi suspected her of having a bad influence on the other dancers, for example brining phones secretly in (which was forbidden by Koffi) to call their family and friends. So when the trip came, she was once again left behind.
Shortly after that, she teamed up with dancer Laura Mombili (who had been fired for revealing Koffi's relationship with Patience to Koffi's ex'wife Aliane), secretary Assitou Mbo and bodyguard B-52, who collectively decided to sue Koffi. They were later joined by the late Zobozi, one of Koffi’s former spokesmen. Each had their own reason and together they formed one front.
Chouchou Mbayo and Laura Mombili accused Koffi Olomidé of rape and sexual assault, which created huge controversy. Many questioned whether Koffi would ever return to Kinshasa and rumors spread that he was preparing for exile, planning to sell his cars and his villa in Monfleury and that he would be arrested upon his return to Kinshasa. Koffi later responded to the allegations in various interviews with Serge Kayembe, Marius Muhunga and Djo K. The lawsuit eventually went nowhere after Zobozi withdrew his complaint, when receiving money and Chouchou as well, deciding to return in Quartier Latin for a short-period and the judge ruling in favor of Koffi Olomidé. After returning for a short period in Quartier Latin, Chouchou decided to settle for a moment in Tanzania and later briefly in Dubai.
After years of absence, Chouchou Mbayo suddenly reappeared in 2010, announcing her return to Quartier Latin. This angered many Quartier Latin fans because of her past and her lawsuit against Koffi for rape. Still, Koffi accepted her back and she danced in the Jeune Pato DVD, which was a preview of Abacadabra and later also in Abacadabra itself. After a few years, she left again and started appearing in different interviews, often criticizing Koffi and they were living as dancers.
