Dancers are just a means to an end. Maybe things have changed now...But I think most of these band leaders/owners are on the DL, sexually abusing the girls. but then, we are in Africa. No one says shit to anyone, and if you complain, you're in more trouble. I've always thought the Fioti Fioti girls were very young to be doing some of the dance routine they did. I wonder what Papa Wemba (RIP) thought about that or if he left that up to his staff. The only one I remember having respect for his dancers is Wazekwa. He dresses them as if they are going to church for the music videos, and no explicit booty shaking.
I still remember Kakol beating the shit out of Linda. I wonder whatever happened to that matter.
