just seen confirmation from roger ML pretty much bcbg's internet spokesmen who confirmed it several times
bcbg's news seem to always catch off guard, from the sad deaths to this unlike some other news which build up for days

Jules is 59 years old and he's probably took the recent tragedies as a sign that it may be time to retire. Whatever his reason, I wish him the best!

If anything, Rio and JDL aren't going anywhere since JB will prefer familiar faces after everything he's ensured the past couple years. It's tough to wake up and see your friends pass away after so much history, but still so young.

Whenever I see a BCBG caption I became scared.
I think he prepared for the departure but the recent string of tragedies hasten this. His restaurant is fully operational and the artistic direction is in safe hands.
All in all this will probably encourage other to leave or perform part time.
I person I was thinking would leave first was another. He may be waiting for the European tour.

Did Kibens travel to Brazza?

lol, that French Michelin stat restaurant of his must be a hot in Kin.

Let’s give him his flowers in all seriousness - almost 30 years of loyalty to BCBG, great compositions contributed, and he helped JB keep his morale in his most troubling moments outside of music

With the dark recent history of BCBG, it’s was best he leave on his own accord in decent health

This departure is 20 years too late. But that being said I do enjoy his songs Love Airlines and Voiture, both powerful sebene songs, and I’ve always really liked his vocal in papito mbala remix. But I’m glad he’s gone, I wish him all the best. I’m sure he’ll still write songs for jb if needed

.....59??? That's like saying fossils don't exist. ...this man has caused a lot of downfall of BCBG with his friends RIO and Trabendo Loko....a fresh air too late though

I shared on my BCBG channel and the comments are as diverse as can be.

The pressure is now on other unnamed older members to do the same

yo thats still mad lol, bcbg performed for the first time without kibens yesterday(the only other time it ever happened was when jb came alone to have fikin with those who stayed in kinshasa while the group was on their last tour before their ban he only ever received one suspension which coincided by the group's month off)
hopefully rio follows, its painful seeing him having to always feature when looking slow even on some easy dances

Yeah I was not expecting this at all loool, yeah Rio and Jdl have to go next. I honestly don’t see jdl leaving because even Jf said when he saw jdl he asked about leaving and jdl said he wouldn’t know what to do with his life without bcbg which is actually pathetic lol. Like Aimelia once said these guys lack ambition in life and it’s only kibens that’s finally proven him wrong.
