Last week, I decided to listen to Doudou Copa's second solo-album Independence Day and it's only now that I discover this diss-song of Doudou Copa towards Roga Roga. It makes sense why Roga Roga threw different shots towards him in his album Kindoki Sorcellerie. Back in the days, I wasn't getting why Roga Roga was calling someone drunkard and if the person was drunk, only to discover years later that it was about Doudou Copa.

About the album Independence Day itself, the album is by far better from his first-album Echaffaudage, which I see as a garbage-album. However, the album is in my opinion not on the level to battle albums from Kinshasa-artists. I don't understand why people were crediting him high at that era and comparing him to Koffi Olomide. He was probably still profiting from the image he had of Extra Musica. Roga Roga was just right to say that he was his master.

yeah doudou could not capitalise on his image of extra,people were respecting him because each album he had at least two strong rumbas,but solo career is about more than that he should have kept more in shape for example and recorded his sebenes and generiques better(in album evolution the generique and first song which is a sebene song are quite good in terms of that) he gave the image of somebody who neglects himself and thats a bad sign
even shape wise look at roga ever since he lost weight with sonor and co leaving and it hurting him he has become much much more confident and is handleing his whole image differently 51 is old but still quite fairly young music wise if you know how to project the good image,look at meiway in ivory coast,older than every of our stars of the game bar koffi,and same age as wazekwa but he takes so good care of him that he looks the age of jb werra and still is energetic,doudou on the other hand looks tired constantly cant even dance anymore and all that,it counts
no wonder kevin scared roga that much back in 2010 2011 and so on because he finally had somebody who could match him in terms of looks,hunger, dancing,charisma and so on and he did everything to eliminate that threat quick

You're absolutely right, people had Heritier, Cappuccino, Jitrios, and Bonbon Kojack as the most anticipated talent to watch because they had the look and the music to match, at the expense of Cafe Room and Eboa Lotin who were technically the stronger vocalist.

Nowadays, everyone can afford too shoot clips complete with models, luxury cars, or choreography. It's harder to appreciate when you're pregnant with a fufu and beer belly trying to keep up with twig thin dancers or standing centerfold as the object of desire lol

Doudou's case is really sad because he insists on putting out music even though he's weakened by a stroke and maintains the smoking, drinking at 51 years old. It shows in the music, you can see the engineer overdubs his vocals.

Our population also do not help with the way they disrespect people when they fall off a cliff,if he felt the love of people and a certain energy he could be like wait a minute i have a responsability towards those people i need to get my act together
there is something kinda similar with celeo and in both cases to counter the disrespect each of them has his coping mechanism,copa seems to dig deeper and deeper in his vices and celeo uses agressive counter interviews as his defence weapon
while if people had a better approach with them we could have saved two important talents
in both cases its their embarassing images(sextape,voice crack and so on) which people prefer to post a lot rather than what they did good
