Shiro Shiro !!! I saw even Durel Loemba commenting. He and Roga said that they had Shiro Vuemba and Baroza as their rolesmodels next to Beniko Popolipo and Alain Makaba. When listening to te sebenes like Etape, Ziya and Inondation, you can sense that style of Zaiko during the Jamais sans Nous days.
There's a solo-partition that Shiro Vuemba once played during the sebene of Manzaka Ebende, which was used by Burkina Faso, Japonais, Maitre Fi-Carré & Alain Makaba and known in Clan Wenge as telephone. Shiro played it in 1988, when Zaiko performed at Studio Maman Ngebi, to present the new team. Burkina Faso probably took it to Clan Wenge and Big Stars, because there's one interview where he explained that he used to play in Minzoto Wella Wella along with Shiro Vuemba, before joining Choc Stars. I noticed that some solo's late Jagger Bokoko played in Big Stars in fact reworked solo-paritions of Burkina Faso. For example a part in the first version of Famille Kikuta, which Burkina Faso played in Etepe Buengo or the telephone-partition in Alvaro Mwanza. Burkina Faso was very lucky to have been close to guitarists like Roxy Tshimpaka, late Tofla Kitoko and late Shiro Vuemba.
So sad that Shiro early passed away.
