I would like to notify everyone that in case you meet the SMF couldn't reach the database text error when you click any link on the forum, it is not due to a forum error, but there is hacking activity going on against the forum, and that's why that message appears. If you see it, try to refresh the page until you can load the page. At the moment I can't do anything about it. There is no security issue because the hacking attempts are handled, but the result is that you may have difficulties to load pages due to huge hacking activity. Working on the solution.

The hacker internetnet robots are trying to inject spam onto the pages of the forum. But it is not possible to do such things with the pages, so they get into an endless loop trying it and leave little space for others from the bandwidth available for the forum. That's why you cannot load the page. This activity has been going on for years, but recently it increased. I am trying to figure out something to keep them away.

This is a default for every website so to say, or most. And even if there is no way for the robots to place their spam on the sites, they are retrying until the people who control them doesn't modify the website addresses to target. A lot of electricity is wasted on this.

I am trying to contact the server provider at the moment to do something about them.
