Broadwater Community Center holds the record in U.K. for having the most Congolese artists. Apart from Fally and Ferre who started their solo-career in 2006, almost every big name of the Congolese music-scene had performed there. I see youngsters on social media saying that all big events of gospel artists and secular artists in UK are always taking place at Dominion Center, but I don't believe that it will ever break the record of the huge amounts of Congolese events in UK
Bill is doing in this concert animation alone. I really wonder how Solola Bien would have been without Celeo. The last 20 years, Celeo often said in different interviews that he wasn't supposed to be there on the UK-trip. A few weeks ago, I saw Patcho RFI saying in a video that Baby Ndombe and Didier Lacoste weren't meant to be in UK aswell and that Werrason wanted to bring ngulu's on their place, but that Claude Maluma insisted to them to be present. Is that true ?
What happened between Werrason and Tonton Jacques ? Tonton Jaques was among the influent donors/fans of Maison Mère from UK and was often on the forefront. But later at some point, Werrason wasn't mentioning him anymore in songs nor writing his name next to important donors/fans on album-covers until he passed away.
In an interview Claude Maluma once made with Yves Kambala in 2001, he said thaht this concert made AJ Otolowa (a Nigerian tour-promoter who brought Maison Mere to the UK) sue Werrason, Boda Bodack and late Tonton Jacques, as he had the exclusivity to organise concerts for 3 years in UK. Because Werrason breached the contract by accepting to perform for Boda Bodack and Tonton Jacques. Mr. Otolowa apparently planned an event at the same venue the following week, but the concert wasn't able to pull the same amount of people, which made him lose money. After this tour Werrason wasn't able to perform in UK until 2002
