Congolese artists are known to record albums fairly quickly, because they spend months prior teasing new vocals and guitar partitions either at rehearsals or concerts. By the time they arrive in Europe, they've got more than enough material for an album.

If I'm not mistaken, albums like Loi, Sanction, and Miracles required less than a month to record and mix.

This was in the 90s and 00s when albums were 10 to 15 tracks max now albums are over 20 songs so it’s not as quick to record. Also with Koffi ever since Danger De Mort takes his sweeeet time to record and release albums to the point they end up getting leaked because he takes too long.
BEK should’ve been out in 2007 but it got released a year later Abracadabra was also delayed 13eme apôtre delayed also, Légende vol 1 was delayed by 2 years and what was the result they all got leaked lol.
This is why I don’t trust Koffi with the release date don’t be surprised if this project gets also leaked lmao

That’s wild to me since Congolese albums are more complex than any other genre. A month is not alot of time I think.

Knowing how Koffi has operated over the decades; I now realize that the Rolls-Royce he was “gifted” with the pink interior a few months ago, was intentional and subliminal marketing. He was saying la vie en rose in those videos, which alludes to this album announcement. This was hidden in plain sight. Clever.

LOL this guy is taking the piss 😂😂 I still don’t believe the project remember the team of Omba Chikito BB J3 and co (loool what a time that was) were seen in the studio recording the supposed Quartier Latin album and even Chikito and Koffi were recording a remix of Insecticide but it never came out.
Even around that time Koffi announced a Quartier Latin with even ex musicians like Sam Tshintu, Fally being allowed to add songs in the album but that never came out either.
