Extract of Nouvelle Génération against Viva la Musica at LSC. The concert was announced as 'concert du siecle'. Back at that time there was a huge rivalery between Viva la Musica and Nouvelle Generation in Europe. However the event also led to the fall of La Nouvelle Generation. Awilo Longomba, Djenna Mandako (RIP), Lidjo Kwempa and Maray Maray were absent on Nouvelle Génération's side. Lidjo Kwempa and Awilo Longomba didn't show up because of them not wanting to perform against Papa Wemba after visiting a "medium" who claimed that they would die one by one if they performed and fans calling them, because of seeing people of Viva's circle throwing weird stuff at the entrance of LSC. Maray Maray couldn't show up because he was banned from France after getting arrested with possession of marijuana, when coming from Switserland and was at the same time also in Lidjo's and Awilo's camp from wanting the event being cancelled. Djenna Mandako was seriously ill, which made Luciano Demingongo, José Fataki and Fafa de Molokai singing on their own and Simolo Katondi replacing Awilo. Compared to the confrontation with Victoria Eleison a some months ealier, it were Viva la Musica who started. Papa Wemba barely sung on Viva la Musica's side. Viva la Musica ended up by winning the confrontation as Nouvelle Generation were weak with the absence of different key-bandmembers.
