the journalists are sent by their tv channels who are partners with artists and the visa posting came from rumours wide spread and established as truth that they did not get visas,because combattants wrote many letters to embassies so that they can not get visas,some even said 100 per cent sure that they would not get visas,so they had to reassure fans
the last concert which was done with confusion over visas i am sure you saw what happened( wazekwa's zenith)
it was not actually show off,it was that bcbg fans and music fans in general were told everywhere that bcbg had zero visas so they had to give fans a proof that they can be trusted
any band in that situation would do that i think
