I don't know if its only me that is getting too used to Genta's voice, I don't see anything new here. I still love Koffi comes to surprises.

its normal to be used to his voice,the "poor" guy does 99 per cent of the work due to lack of a strong 2nd atalaku

Beside the wonderful rhythm from Zygal from Min 3.40 there is nothing impressive about this,too boring for my liking and if it doesn't impress in concert then it definitely won't when recorded in studio as usually live versions are better. Genta is overworked, there is 4 or 5 atalukus on stage but the rest of them are doing fuckall,sometimes I see the reason why Werrason puts his musicians to the test in front of the fans, sometimes musicians get too comfortable when they've been in a group for many years.

That is why they say JB survives by his voice but he is slowly being forgotten by many including me. His last was kipe yayo. Genta, is tired and needs to retire. JB needs to critically consider his fans to pick a succesor to take over genta. Segiun, kibense n Rio also needs to go. We need many padaches to take bcbg to a different level. Lastly, jb is lazy...

Genta needs support,not necessarily leaving,he looks that tired because he works more than the rest of atalakus combined
this is what bcbg lack,they are the only top band with one atalaku dominating that much
cellulaire and co have as much animation in their whole bcbg career then genta in a year and that's not normal
maybe jb is so satisfied by genta alone that he's not bothered about the rest of guys who mainly spent their time doing chorus to genta
like in maison mere,when brigade was the main man,guys like diego dropped a lot  but they were not fired since brigade was contributing enough to make up for their little participation
and only some fans want genta out,otherwise it would have been seen in concerts long long ago like when they wanted kibens and co out,whereas its actually when genta steps in that fans start dancing with passion
all genta needs is a younger guy(since apparently being younh is that important) who contributes much more than yankobo cellulaire,pajo and co
having that guy who can compliment genta would allow him to have time to relax more at concerts(the example of mboshi at olympia comes to mind,when he almost lost his voice at some point and sam tshintu had to help him out a little)

....what of Quel est ton probleme,ever heard of that album,it's perfect and the best he's released in the last 10 years I think.

One thing that is making generiques boring these days is that these musicians take 3 years to make them and in those three years they will play most parts of the their upcoming generiques,by the time the album comes we know already what to expect and we are proved right as fans,JB Mpiana is not the only culprit.

the last zaiko generique is a perfect example, it was predictable from fi'rst to last second

Sly, Archos, the main topic of discussion is that JB lacks new talent to take Bcbg at a new level. He seems to produce albums and concerts with the same rythm since the rappers and instrumentalists are the same, sunda, kibense,ficarre, segiun, genta etc....10-15 yes together is not helpful for jb. Werrason knows the game not jb.

Yes you are right Emo Werra knows that game not Jb, each Werra and Maison Mere album always someone new to spice things up, but then again Koffi used the same exact people for two straight albums Effrakata and  Affaire D'etat and those are in my opinion his best albums ever.

And another thing when it's time to dance KIBENS GET OFF THE DAMN STAGE YOU CAN'T DANCE TO SAVE YOUR LIFE IT'S EMBARRASSING, IF I WANT TO WATCH GUYS WHO CAN'T DANCE  I MIGHT AS WELL PICK U A ZAIKO DVD.

hahaha JB for life....there are two kinds of change...new members who create excitement because of of the anticipation of not knowing what to expect .... and new composites where an artist is already defined and it is generally known what to expect.
from the discussions on the thread guys want the former. for me JB has continued to do well. am abit  of a conservative ....BCBG plays oldies and new songs quite well there is balance and depth.....notice sakoko interprets kibense parts quite well.....
