i was speaking today to a friend of him which i wont name for respect of his privacy,and he told me this "koffi is upset with the lack of support of his colleagues ever since his justice problems so since some are even mocking him he will do all he can so that they do not perform in europe as long as his issue is not solved and him back  in europe
that's why he keeps saying on tv that he is the only one who can solve the combattants issue he has the solution to the problem
he sent messages to combattants before jb's zenith to motivate them in what happened at the end of day
 but on tv he  plays the good role of the guy who is concerned
many musicians are skeptical about his presence to the musicians reunion set to happen soon at hotel venus,they could miss out should him be there as they fear he could betray their strategy to those people who are against congolese musicians

Yeah.........that's why I love it when he's sidelined and pushed aside like Tabu Ley's family told him not to do another Koffi Chante Tabu Ley show, he thinks he can bulldoze his way.

Koffi Olomide has a history of stabbing people in the back. This has been going since he began his career. He was a member of Papa Wemba's Viva La Musica and wrote songs for Zaiko for a brief time before going with Debaba for Historia Musica. He forms his own group Quartier Latin in 1986. Koffi Olomide did and still has terrible relations with Nyoka Longo and Papa Wemba (who I say are responsible for Koffi's career). These two guys in my view helped Koffi become the Koffi we know. Of course Felix Wazekwa. He wrote the genius songs for Koffi Olomide. But of course Koffi never credits Wemba, Longo or Wazekwa for his success. He acts like he made all his success without help. That has been Koffi has been for years. He does not like anyone and uses people for his own glory.
