time will tell but again I think he's very much alive to the fact that many people consider him a nuisance and thus wants to prove a point.
It's difficult in Congolese music to make it if you don't have someone with financial power to back you. All these stars who are successful were bankrolled by big politicians and businessmen, they were sponsored from start until they became big but nowadays the financiers only help to kickstart for instance money for studio work and mabanga and no promotion and it is promotion where most musicians are struggling, kabose,Celeo, Alain Mpela, Bouro Mpela,Aimelia Lias, etc, all these musicians, they do good music but struggle because once they release their albums they don't tour a lot within Congo and barely play outside Congo. It is from playing concerts that musicians become popular and make money not album sales that's why the other day I was a bit concerned when I saw an interview of Bogus Bompema saying he has no ambition to form a band. Yes it is easy to record albums and produce good music but without a band to back you up you're doomed, this is the problem even Alain Makaba found himself and it's the reason why the likes of Ferre and Fally did not waste so much time recruiting and they keep recruiting talented musicians.
