Even Sankara was closer to Adolphe back in the early days of Maison Mere. During his first television appearence he was praising Adolphe a lot saying that he was the most beautiful among the rest of leaders. That's why he was mad when Werra and others kicked him out.
But I want to know when Masela left the band ? I heard that they left him in Canada is that right ?

It's true that Aldophe was very influend member of Wenge Maison Mere, but that story about convincing Werrason is not true. This story was just invented for polemiques. It was Didier Masela, who did convice the two guys. Because he didn't want to see the band that he created dying. Aldophe vision was also not to continue music, like Werrason. Aldophe wanted just to begin his business-career, with help from his rich-family

I have always said it Werason is not a gentleman, he betrayed his colleagues so sadly. Adolph was not happy after some time and you could see it even on videos that followed Solo labien, at one show in France you could see Adolph pushed to the far right side of the stage dressed the same way as other junior members and he came with the junior members on stage before Wera. He looked very sad. A lot of sad things characterize the lives of some of these musicians back stage than the glamor they come to show on the stage if all that has been said here is anything to go by.Then one funny thing is that all those guys Wera used to frustrate his colleagues, its only Ferre who has come to see real success in his carrier.

I have too many concert dvd's of BCBG, JB has played in most places in Congo. Back in the days he could not play in the Bandundu areas because of the hostility that was there because of his fall out with Werrason. People felt JB Mpiana had literally abandoned Werra in the cold despite him JB not having been a founding member of the original group. There was a lot of violence amongst fans back in the days, it's only now that things are ok and JB mainly sticks to playing regular VIP shows at hotels and lodges in Kinshasa city and not going deeper in the localities like Werra does.

True, I understand Serge Mabiala was also taken to Maison Mére by Adolphe.

There is an interview where Serge Mabiala says that he was brought by Werrason, because he was a "pure petit of Werrason", while Werrason was in Wenge Musica. He stated also that he lived in his house, that they were working on his songs,etc.
