The days before the Wenge-separation were wonderful you had at time fara-fara concerts at the same concerthall or stadium. There were even fara-fara of different generations against each other. Examples are Wenge vs Zaiko, Victoria Eleison vs OK Jazz, Viva La Musica vs Victoria Eleison, etc.  The thing what was special is that rivals were talking to each other after and before the concert, if they had an fara-fara. A thing that you will not see in these days.

Archos this is shocking news i think music is love and peace in a way that's why we forget everything and dance to the beat satanism is chaos and losing focus in whatever competition they have . I feel sorry for them  i think they have bad advisers . Are they coming from the same province?

Let it not happen that way it is they will be buried and we will forget them . Someone must have been started

no they are from different regions and indeed they were advised to there is no way to be succesful without it and also you need it to protect from enemies
ferre and fally were both christian in the past, both were even in church groups but the day they decide to go solo, out the 5 first new people they meet maybe 4 were sorcerers and stuff like that
and if one does x or y type of sacrifice the other one wants to prove he is bigger so he does worse
like  i have said earlier in the former forum,i was like a staff member for ferré but did not last long with them because of my ideas
i was the only guy who was advising him not to go into those things, some were even willing to give their own family members as long as  ferré becomes as big as they wished and dominated fally
i was quickly rejected from them, and looking back at it i am happy i did not remain there

i suggested three points
-first one maintaining balance between rumba and sebene like in the past,so that he is different to the rest
second one, fully maintaining the group system with a name and  more participation from musician instead  of" ferre and his group" even though he allows musicians to participate a bit
third one was about witchcraft,i said he had all the tools to be succesful, good dancer, fantastic singer, charisma....i was  called " yuma" (stupid for those who do no understand lingala) and told that i did not want him to succeed

Those are really good ideas but I don't get what you mean by "fully maintaining the group system with a name" like his group is les Gaulois and he lets his musicians  participate a lot. And what do you mean by balance between rumba and sebene?

the name les gaulois was created by fans it exists nowhere officially even when  chikito and co are interview i have never heard a journalist mention it
it's ferre and his group or the group of ferre, the musicians of ferre, whereas my idea was having a clear name like bcbg, maison mere, quartier latin cultura and co and why not doing group albums
about the balance, for example a 16 song album for me should have 2 strong generiques,5 or 6 sebene songs at least  and the rest rumbas

Aaaa!! No!! Thank you archos, you played your part and when your valid counsel is not appreciated then you do the honorable thing that you did, that is to quit. One thing that I must commend about you is that even after being called yuma, you did not take offense, I mean if you did so you would be castigating Ferre on this forum. It is normal when there is a fallout, people tend to tarnish their former employers name. God bless you for that.

thanks ken,you know i was not even pissed when i left them,i was actually sad because i really cared about him for his best whereas other have interests, like mabanga or songs for free, family members brought instead of some musicians on tours here and so on...
I had similar problems with many leaders especially jb and werra who  i am closer to than other musicians, they prefer guys who will praise them all day long than guys who give them proper advice and at the end most of guys who live are not afraid to tell them some stuff they hate hearing are frozen out,so far the most receptive to criticism i have seen is wazekwa, you actually discuss on everything, the only thing he does not like is talking of reconciliation with koffi lol
the day congolese musicians will pick the right guys to be around them, they will become a massive force in africa again

I have always read any of your comments on Wazekwa with a lot of interest and my conclusion is that Wazekwa must be a very good man on  personal character. With that I have liked Wazekwa more, when you meet him continue telling him to maintain who he is, with that he will have more peaceful life than those who are busy sacrificing fellow human being. If you don't mind you can tell me about his private life, his personal family and his stature in Congolese society. Thank you.

There is, and has always been, a strong and consistent attack on music from Satan. At this point I should note that some people don't believe in Satanism. To me that is like wishing off a bad thing or closing one's eyes to reality and evidence. It is interesting to read Werra2006's post above where he condemns everyone who believes in all this to hell; he must believe in hell surely then?

The attack on music is from several angles, the main one being the curse of ignorance. I am shocked by how most of the people I meet cannot tell the difference between good and bad music. Poor education it a culprit. If everyone was taught from an early age to listen and appreciate good music, created by artists (humans, not computers) and shared and played communally - as intended and as it has been done before, especially in the African tradition - then we would all be demanding for good music from our 'musicians'. I have to commend Archos for standing by his principal of a music group/band while advising Ferre, as opposed to the selfish solos of today's musicians; as it were, we are all created with limitations, partly, I believe, to make us appreciate our need for fellow humans. The cliche goes: no man is an island.

Apart from making sure we are illiterate musically (how else can you explain pop music and the terrible, sickening lot we listen to on majority of radio stations and public entertainment places?), Satan does indeed use the musicians themselves - to a big success, I must say. How do you finish a nation off? You pit the top leaders against each other. Look at South Sudan. So, by making sure Ferre and Fally (arguably the top emerging musicians from Congo) are at war, that music is headed for doom.

There are several other ways that are being used to take away the beautiful, inimitable gift of music from humanity. That is why I urge everyone to fight back. Fight the illiteracy. There is no excuse in the modern age not to really learn music. Let us all demand for good music. Congolese music is supposed to be full of innovative solos and strong guitar harmonies, real drummers and enchanting percussions. Good sebene music is all we ask for. We are not getting any of that and instead all we hear is polemic and talk, but no music at all. With the abundance of choices today, some of us are already looking elsewhere for good music; and, believe me, there is a lot of it out there.

Archos, i am so grateful for the information that you impart on us here. Do you still work within the industry in some capacity or do you just keep contacts with people who are? Have you ever thought of managing an artist or band from scratch? i realize this is expensive but with the knowledge you have i think it would be cool if you got some mucisians together and tried to drum up sponsorship. i would definitely support that!!

for the moment just contacts,i had the plan of manageing but seeing how people around them are acting i prefer taking more time and maybe one day
also depend of time available, but a guy like fabregas would have been interesting to manage,he is one of the rare to have a good surrounding
