exactly my point, he repeats the same shit over and over.....listen to Kapaya or Thierry Mongratana..even Felly Tyson you will know why i said faux soliste.....Charly solo plays solo guitar as if he just started learning when in reality he's been around for soo long. If i was Ferre i would steal Brigade's soliste, that guy got that modern kapaya style that gets you going in my opinion and he's creative with his variation of play unlike Charly solo naba solo naye ya solo

Yeah, like his master, he plays crisp clear solos but not creative, same rhythm/ melody from start of sebene to finish.

I have seen all of those concerts and repetition when they came out, i just don't rate him

kimbangu is in paris,playing at church, or in studio with some coupe decale quys or sometimes young paris group and the rare solo artists who  allow musicians from outside their groups to perform on their albums
 and also he is on  his project of an album

The dream for all young Kinshasa musicians is to go to Europe. They are paid peanuts in all these bands, it's mainly allowances they get and other handlouts plus money directly from mabanga and from their individual fans so being Europe means they can do get into formal employment for instance factory work, security, restaurants ,music becomes part time in European and african clubs at weekends and in churches on sunday and they do studio session work and get paid for it.
Kimbangu like many others married someone who is already settled in Europe and now has a child so going back to Kin would not suit him at all.
