I think you have talked too much on this one. This guy deserves a prize. He is an average singer but he knows business.

Singing is just part of music components, if singing was a complete system by itself then people could be dancing to the tunes of choirs.

You need the best composer, arranger, creative genius, that is what Le Roy De la Forret is best atand has made him Toujour Leader.

Looks that you are  a young boy and your music library is short of great hits and nice melodies of Le Phenemona the likes of surprise kapangala and blandine etc where he showed the art of singing. Most of young guys can sing like Ferre but I have seen none who can imitate Werra's unique voice.

He might not be a good singer, but he is a musician, you wouldn't have wasted your time commenting on this thread if he was not a top top musician.

During the pick of Wenge, I was mad on the Band, I used to listern to the song Daddet Autat (Please correct my spelling) with friends who were not that much on Congolese and I constantly asked them to compare the voices of Werra and Jb, to my supprise most of them liked the voice of Werra over Jb, so stop saying Werra is an average singer, he is a good singer with a good voice unless you give a definition of a good singer. One More thing, when Hiho New Image came out most of my friends were singing the Werra part.

i would say werra is a basically a good singer,or at worst a decent enough one,but he has dropped one hell lot in terms of singing in the post les marquis era,maybe because he knows no matter how bad he sings people will still be ecstatic just by his presence alone because he is werra(i say the same  for jb,but its less blatant because jb has more natural talent)
 and also its his stage attitude which makes it easy for people to diss him about his singing, he is too  often at backstage speaking with ya machine or when he  sings he does not look as confident as he was in wenge musica or in the beginning  of maison mere
 the wenge musica's werra could be alone on the mic and sing a song then those who had vocals were joining later one by one( for example there was a song ko juger moto na mosika ezali mabe,forgot the true title),whereas  today's werra is more likely to call heritier or eboa
its all about confidence and focus, even less talented singers like wazekwa and adolphe have that confidence,and it makes it easier to accept them with their natural flaws
i would also say that for koffi who was basically not a good singer but with self confidence and discipline became what he is today
