Ndombolhino has said the same on facebook too saying Deplik is tired of the crap by Werrason, first it was the slap he received from Werra and recently Werra took the microphone from him and gave it to the fake singer Nicodem who is new in the band so Deplik felt insulted.

Not a surprise....well all knew this was coming

Yeah, it seems Deplik was just waiting for the album to be released so that his song helps him launch a solo career but with studio work restarting all over again due to constant recruitment he's seen that the album is not gonna be on the market anytime soon.

It's best for him to move on, it's really sad that it's only in one band that we hear people getting slapped and others having their teeth broken.

also one thing which made me think he could leave anytime soon is his honesty,in maison mere and in  clan wenge in general a musician who is too honest is not well seen and they try to prove him a point
his personality was not matching anymore  that system of keeping mouth shut and pretending all is perfect in their lives
but i'll wait for confimation,he could very well take a step back if he is scared by the huge buzz his departure created( with maison mere fans pressure and stuff like that),other than that he's been thinking about leaving  for a while

The situation at MM seems to be just bad. It is now evident that even Capuccino could not wait for  Ingeta to come out with his song as its like it was unbearable to him. At some point I think of what some of these guys go through in the hands of leaders especially at la Zamda and with Koffi and  I feel for them. I give it to guys like Heritier who have stayed in there for all that time. I personally wish Deplik all the best even though I feel he has not reached that right time to go solo.

I don't get it if Deplick really left why would he leave??  He has six vocals and a song in Dessert Ingeta....at least leave after the album is released and after they play some concerts.

Yeah siding with Brigade in Maison Mere is like siding with an enemy...Rice was supposed to takeover from Deplick or Heritier but we already know how that went down.

i agree it's best for him to move on. as much as the old orchestra format is missed in today's congolese music i think a lot of singers will benefit from going the solo route. i think if they go into their solo careers genuinely wanting to bring good music and not soley from a standpoint of fame then it can work to the music's advantage. fabregas is a good example. he left and got some good producers and made a very complete album. and maybe the old orchestra structure will return again one day but until then these singers have to do what is in their hearts and what is best for them.

he also recently signed to koffi olomide. i wouldn't count him out just yet. fally ipupa didn't really gain fame until his 30s. fabregas from what i understand hasn't reached 25 yet. the greatest point is he was able to make good music on his own without werrason.

are we really going to pretend that fally was at the same level of success with koffi at that time as he is by his second album for the sake of arguing? i'm sure i made my point clear. its not all about superstardom for me its about the end result and what is good for the music that concerns me. a lot of these singers among a well known group are KNOWN so while fabregas' album didn't sell i'm willing to bet a lot of ppl know who he is just off the strength of him being with werrason. so idk how we would compare fally when he was with koffi to fabregas while with werrason. anyone who follows the music closely surely knows who fabregas is.

anyway my point still stands. fabregas is young and still has a long way to go and despite this fact he made a good record. for me that means he has great potential to do better.

No man, Fally was a nobody in Quartier Latin at the time Attentat was released. Fally became popular after the release of Affaire d'etat but even with that he still had no power or influence, it was when he went solo that everything just changed for him.
I don't like comparing Fally and Ferre but I can tell you that Ferre had much more influence in Maison Mere than Fally had at Quartier Latin as Ferre was instrumental in the recruitment process and coaching of new members of the band.
