I don't think it's an insult, this is a decent car to give a 20 year old lad by a boss. The boy gets wages and bonuses on top of that. It is also because of his being in Ferre's band that Ferre's associates have also sent the boy a decent Audi which he's had prior to this Chrysler.

If you see the photos of congolese musicians on their facebook pages or when you see them in interviews on youtube at their residences, most drive very old cheap cars for instance BCBG drummer had a very cheap Chrysler till recently when he was given a Range Rover Sport by JB Mpiana.

By African standards, Chikito has been given a decent car and it is likely that some senior band members will be jealous,i doubt if even Marchouse who is literally Ferre's number 2 drives such a car.
Production for the car could have ended but spares are still available so the car is good to go,there are many cars that are no longer manufactured but spares are still manufactured.

Seguin is like his vieux of matete wazekwa both like having the same car until it starts getting serious problems 
and then save their money in their account,wazekwa had the same range rover from 2007 2008 until primlus offered him a new car for his deal renewal
