everytime i see didi i remember a scene between him and seguin 20 years ago
didi was president of a group called fraternité musica, with celeo as atalaku, zing kapaya on solo, seguin on drums and so on
while they were recording their first and only album, seguin wanted to sing since he has it in him aswell(knowing his brothers its not surprising) and didi told him "go back to drums or i will hit you with your sticks"
and now seguin is way higher than him in bcbg
he is right in what he says that, musicians who joined groups from 2004 lack patience and wante to get everything fast and then once they are out they insult the leaders who made them stars

yeah the group of diidi, seguin, zing, chikito of the pupu... had as rival the group of fally, djino, sankara and co
and seguin wanted to sing but was  responded like that by didi to  tell him you are our drummer stick to drum
but seguin actually sings well like his brothers, he often participates in chorus in some songs especially those credidted to him
listen to eloko ya pema well, you might hear his voice between the one of  djino, the one of chai and the one of kibense there is a fourth one there

by the way, bcbg recruited a new singer yesterday at  a concert at francophony hall in frotn of stade des martyrs, and he was already presented tdoday on national tv and roger ngandu announced he sings in his song
the guy sings a bit like nicodem of ferré

Did you tell him about the lack of sebene? We need more sebene, more songs like Champion Kapangala not just generiques and too many ballads.

I didn't even realise there are new dancers,i need to buy recent concert dvds, the last one I got recently is the concert dubbed ''Rio De Janeiro'' I think and I didn't see Patou Solo,it was Ficarre on lead throughout,i found it strange,it was Ficarre's lucky day to shine.  :-D

The departure of Chai, Boguys and Gino has triggered mass recruitment....more competition in Wenge BCBG now and this will lead to more energy and better music....we have waited for this for a long time and it has happened. Next move is to try other drummers and guitarists...

Now Archos, you should have told JB explicitly that Kibense and Rio should be used 20% of the time in studio and concerts to give room to young artists....those two suck all the energy up and make BCBG look bad....

I have this CD....Bought it in Sounds Arcade, Zambia....yes, Ficarre played in all the songs and young patou was not there. To me, he played very well and guess what? The Mpunda generique played in that concert was good, I don't know why they did not do that in studio....I was also happy that JB allowed young artists to take up most of the singing and dancing space....the slow man, Rio was absent (or maby was behind the scenes)except his close clown Jules Kibense and JDL. The young ones, Abraham, Nono Fuji, Trezeguet and Mulala including Queen Mother and her fellow dancers did a good job.

patou was stuck in hopital due to serious malaria(i think if you watch you'll realise he lost quite some weight)
about the sebene,i got the same answer, for them to release many sebene songs it depends on demand, there azre plenty of sebene songs prepazred in private but nodody wants to "buy"it,so they prefer releasing rumbas which its certain that there will be people willing to pay to have their name sung throughout the song
its the same thing in every group
back on bcbg,in the long term plan of singers lineup is didi kalombo, nono fudji, abraham, atshouda when using 4  microphones, or then adding  bana boma when using more than that
album balle de match is like a test for the groups singers, those who impress will be used a lot in chemin de fer
