This is a masterpiece for those who don't care about sebene, the rhumbas are excellent. It's an 11 track album,the first track is a Generique and this time Doudou swapped his guitarists, the usual rhythm guitarist Sivetesse is the one who played lead on the generique and did very well,on rhythm is the soloist of the group Freddy Masaki.


So far this song has really stuck in my head and can't stop playing and singing along especially the chorus '' naleli amour lokola mwana nzambe na ekurusu, eli, eli, lama sabachthani'' (am crying for love like God's son(Jesus) on the cross)

I have listened to some of his songs. Those are genius songs. Just great talent. Doudou enjoys rumba but those who love sebene won't like this album one bit.

It's got one generique which is well played but those buying it expecting sebene songs like on his previous albums will be disappointed quite alright.

That is very true. Probably because he came from a sebene group Extra Musica so people would expect the musicians to carry but guys like Doudou enjoy rumba music much more.

Another album to look out for is Kanga Nzoto by Patrouille des Stars, it's got 8 tracks which include 2 generiques, one or two rhumba songs,one traditional song a remix and the other slow songs end with sebene, this is one album I highly recommend,it beats anything done by the Wenge groups in the last 3 years, the sebenes are hard hitting I must warn you!!!!

Another song to listen to is  Michelle  .. this  guy is somehow amazing .. but  as mentioned above  sebene wise he does not  do a good job .

however on his last album , he pretty much did a good job on this one
