What is happening is mere polemic which the two bands understand very well. It mainly benefits Maison Mere.
Ferre Gola may be young and only 6 or 7 years into his solo career but what he's achieved can only be ignored or brushed aside by someone who is really stupid. At the moment, Ferre and Fally are ruling and are in demand the world over, the bigger stars are all finished and docile especially Werrason who doesn't go anywhere apart from La Zamba. JB Mpiana at least tours within Congo,it's the same for Koffi who has managed a few tours within Africa so it's Werra who is dormant therefore saying Ferre is far behind is living in denial yet everyone is dancing to his music and he's being invited by even national leaders and other VIP's to perform at private functions etc

There was a time I used to despise Fally Ipupa's music and never bothered with it but then my family back in Africa kept asking me for Fally's music, I used tell them that Ferre was better but they never paid attention so when I visited home, we were on a long journey,my young brother and mother both major fans of Fally so they were putting Fally's music and I too was putting Ferre's music and at the time they  kept asking me who was singing when I played Ferre Gola so I told them it's the same Ferre I have been telling them about Ferre so in the end they switched to Ferre and I also started paying more attention to Fally because I listened to a lot of his music on that journey now we all enjoy Fally and Ferre's music,that's how easy we take things. I live and travel a lot within East Africa, I know what is on the ground which you don't know, Ferre is in the same league with likes of Kabose, JDT and Celeo, his songs are not played even in City buses let alone Clubs. The only song by Ferre which is even played regular by Congolese band in their shows is Vita Imana.

My friend, Congolese music is loved everywhere in the world not just East Africa, continue believing what you believe and i'll believe what I believe. I am from Southern/Central Africa, Zambia to be precise and I visit Zambia a lot, we too have varied opinions and favourite musicians. Despite the fact that the dominance of Congolese music in Zambia has been killed off by modern Zambian music, we still have joints where they also play Congolese music and it's Fally and Ferre who are ruling, the likes of Celeo,Kabose ,Bill etc are not even known in Zambia, Werrason is known for Sololá Bien and Malewa, Koffi for songs such as Loi,Magie, SKol Mandramanda etc but come to Europe, the scenario is completely differerent. anyway, I think we must agree that me and you can never agree on one thing so let's just live like that without crossing each others paths especially by avoiding getting personal.

Guys, Ferre,Fally,JB, Papa Wemba, Koffi, Werra and Wazekwa are some of the top musicians to ever come out of congo and they have fans spread across the globe so just because one of them isn't appreciated by you or their music is not played in the bars you go to doesn't mean those guys are not popular. It is a fact that most of us have regular clubs we go to ,we do not visit all the bars so our judgement can be poor.
Just last week in Paris there was a poll about Ferre and Fally ,they said Boite Noire is being played more than Kosa Leka and most fans said Ferre was doing proper music but we cannot say Fally's music is not playing or his album is not appreciated,each of the musicians is doing very well internationally.

Ferre and his group are a nursery for Maison Mere and I said it before. WMMM is the university of Wenge ans I would go as far as saying that all musician in the groups of the Maison Mere family aspire to achieve the highest honour of joining Werrason. Werrason has proved ALL there needs to prove. He's taken and prevailed against Koffi and JB arguably the most formidable singers and performers of the last 20 years. Who is Ferre compared to those 2? A nobody not even worthy to wipe Fally's arse. He better be advised to pick his enemies wisely or he'll be loitering the streets of Gombe without a group after they've all deserted to Maison Mere.
