You simply do not get it.
Papa Wemba is over 60 years old, he does music for his mature fans not boys so it is even folly for you to compare a generique done by Europe based teenagers to his generique.
Get it mate, Papa Wemba will not change his music to suit teenagers, his is for mature listeners, sorry. 

He's not that much older then Koffi and Nyoka Longo and they make very good generiques,there is no excuses.

i think its a matter of style,just like ya jossart wont dump his sebene style for the kapaya one,wemba sticks to the style around biscuit des ecoliers and the style of mogratana/dady bola,just like he had the more melodious one with alpatchino/ramazani

Archos, Nyoka Longo doesn't do those fast paced sebene like Maison Mere but his generiques are still good and danceable and he still keeps the old school flavour in it.

i understand your point of view man but what i mean its that there are fans who like that style so wemba continues ,just like there are people who like  wazekwa's new style of generiques for example

Yes that is my preferred type of generiques and also including the piano.

the generiques with longer rhythm parts(and those kizengi dances lol)  like oh la la and adamu na eva,some partitions are even created by wazekwa himself

Yeah what I don't like in Wazekwa generiques is that it will have nice sebene for a minute then goes to a very long rhythm part and that's where they do those unnecessary kizengi dances.....That never happened when Gessac was there....but it's still better then any generique Papa Wemba can ever think of making.

Jdog, you just have serious issues to deal with, you need to get a life seriously. Why should Papa Wemba make music just the way you want it, listen to the music of those musicians you think make music you like, let those who enjoy Papa Wemba's style enjoy, trashing Papa Wemba won't help you in any way, he's a star and has his loyal fans.

Papa Wemba has years upon years of experience. He is the true master of congolese music. Listen to p wemba mwana molokai 20 years, fula ngenge ( one of the best), a la une, somo trop, ya biso moko and i cannot forget Nkunzi Nlele. Papa wemba is very smart he has produced one of the best singers coming out of his band. Yes I enjoy this generique of Bouleman but really this will never compare to anything that Papa Wemba has done, many many bands afterwards have influnced after the Viva La musica/ novelle ecrita days.

I'm talking about Papa Wemba's rhumba because  he has made some good ones. I'm just talking about the generiques that he has released.
