Now this is the best news I have heard this year!!!!!!  Hope with this soloist comes the actual change we want not just change of personnel, we want the music to change too. Am sure EMO can't wait for this change,we all can't wait.

Mboka Liya is happy with what he's doing in London. Am quite impressed with his recording skills, I finally got the album he recorded for my friend Renato, the sound quality of the music is good, the vocals could be better though. At the moment he's recording other smaller artists in London so unless JB pays him a good amount to leave London it's a non starter, JB has done well to arrange auditions so we look forward to Patou's successor.

Good generique,better then some generiques that have come out recently.

Unfortunately that bozi soloist disappeared in angola  like one or two years ago, in hope to look for a nice life( like we have said in some former posts,angola has become a b plan for those who cant go to europe)

There are plenty of soloists out there who can play very well but it's all about JB changing is style of sebene so no matter what soloist goes to BCBG, JB's music will probably remain the same.

Good news there Archos and I hope you not April fooling us.....fingers crossed....how I wished the drum section could shake too. Now, I hope JB will do an open audition because we need independent minds from fans to help select. This should include already existing soloists in bcbg. Sly, you kind of right but I feel a new soloist can probably tune it up a bit and bring change. If only hono kapanga or daday Ora can be tried. We need change in bcbg.

Patou Solo is really an excellent soloist and at concerts you can just about hear clearly that he can do better than what he was being forced to do when they record in studio that's why i feel the change has to come from JB himself realising that he needs to be more aggressive on sebene.

I see your point JB will be looking for "Yes-men" but good soloist like the ones we've brought above will once in a while sneak in some lovely riffs to whoa the crowds during live concerts...

...Funny you would say that because I have always maintained that JB copied the whole concept in Quel est ton probleme; with QETP coming out as a slower version.
