I really don't get people say there's too much Rhumbas in Congolese music and there needs to be more sebene in sings but all Le Karmapa does is Rhumbas. Congolese music went and is going far with their music which is rhumba and sebene, it just depends on people's taste. I like both sebene and rhumba but there needs to be more sebene songs which is coming back for the younger artists because Fally is doing sebene songs in his upcoming group album. So when that happens the rest will follow Fally ( as always because he's the leader) and do sebene songs.

You have a lot of catching up to do. There's a big difference between the ballads like Fally does and the rhumba that the like of Karmapa do, it's totally different. To make it easier for you to understand, each song should carry a message that sticks out, it shouldn't just be about love especially some man or woman crying for her lover to come back which is what the likes of Fally and his generation do. I have told you this in other responses too.

You're right, they can't understand but they can tell that the arrangement of the song is bullshit as they can compare with others songs and tell If a song is strange.

That can be a good reason, with all due respect to Le Karmapa(who makes good rhumbas)  is a faux chanteur but then again Werra and Felix Wazekwa are not the best of singers but have a huge fanbase and succesfull songs and albums....maybe it's because they play better sebene then Le Karmapa.
