I think he decided to return to Europe after being sidelined at Maison Mere due to differences he had with a fellow ataluku there , I think he's now rejoined his former colleagues from Les Gaulois ie Jus d'orange, Patou 'Valeur' Makela, Michel Synthé and others who are busy preparing their album.

He didn't switch him to rhythm, he was recruited as rhythm guitarist but he can play lead too and he played lead at this show and when Ferre returned to Kinshasa, that was after Christian Solo and other musicians disappeared and stayed over in Europe after a tour of Europe.
