Hehehehehe, one of my late dad's favourite songs. I liked the part where he started shouting, he was really angry with the ndoki!!

It is not clear what killed him but the song ''Attention na Sida'' fuelled speculation about his death so most people believe he was one of the early victims of the HIV virus but then he sang another song to dispel those rumours, it was the song ''Les Rumeurs.''
Looking at the images of interviews he had shortly before his death,he didn't seem like someone dying from AIDS, i think it could have been prostrate cancer or something but yes,his health had deteriorated and his voice was gone as can be heard in the same song ''Les Rumeurs.''

He was actually direct even though he didn't say AIDS but he said it straight that he got a disease from a woman who died before him so it's definitely a sexually transmitted disease.

I remember I was young and listening to this song. During the part where Franco is "cursing people" my parents and my aunt started laughing hysterically.

I have heard long rumors that it wasn't AIDS that killed him, but it was "nkisi."  The same "nkisi" that killed my father and many of my uncles.
